Zargabad
The city of Zagarbad is the heart of the Central Takistan province. It is located in the center of large north-south running valley surrounded by the mountains from all sides. The city center is filled with large urban buildings, markets and offices, while the suburb quarters comprise of the simple adobe houses and farmsteads.
There is a pseudo-modern villa on the northern outskirts of the city, built in 1978 by one of the King's cousins, almost destroyed in 1988 and recently refurbished by the local military commander, Colonel Mohammad Rahim Aziz. The troops under his command are stationed on the city airport, in few smaller military installations in the city and in the large bases and training camps to the north and north-west.
If the situation in Takistan ever changes, Zargabad will become one of the country's prime tourist locations.
