Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead Update 1.63

Bohemia Interactive is pleased to announce the release of update 1.63 for Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead (changelog).

Besides the numerous fixes and optimizations which were introduced during the 1.63 beta program which covered almost a 2 year period for this iteration of the engine, the update focuses on the transition of the multiplayer from GameSpy matchmaking to Steam.

Activate non-Steam versions of Arma 2 on Steam

Bohemia Interactive, the award-winning independent Czech development studio, announces today the planned discontinuation of Arma 2 Free.

On Tuesday 22nd April 2014, nearly 3 years after its first announcement, Bohemia Interactive will be closing the Arma 2 Free servers and discontinuing its availability, Bohemia Interactive wish to thank the many thousands of gamers for their interest in Arma 2 Free and look forward to new projects in the future.

ARMA 2: COMBINED OPERATIONS / OPERATION ARROWHEAD / REINFORCEMENTS UPDATE 1.62

As part of our continuous support, we released a new patch for the award-winning tactical military shooter, Arma 2. Patch 1.62 brings a lot of fixes to multiplayer, which – aside for the largescale military battles – will also make zombie hunts much less prone to crashes and should improve server stability. The other highlights of version 1.62 are:
